This mobile centrifuge is an ideal unit for anyone who needs to spin samples in the field. Its portability helps prevent analyte value shift caused by delayed centrifugation. This device is constructed with a brushless, permanently lubricated motor which operates on a standard 12 volt DC current supplied by the cigarette/power receptacle found in most vehicles. The 6 or 8 place rotor will accommodate blood collection tubes from 1.5 to 15 mL, and features a built-in 30 minute timer and convenient carrying handle.
An optional power converter allows the device to be powered by any standard indoor 115 V AC outlet.
